Pumpkin Patch Primitives
September News!
There's no other
season as bright and
beautiful as Fall. I
just positively live for
Nature's Show of
Colors; and in NH we
do Fall in a BIG way!
I anxiously await,
pruners in hand, for
those Bittersweet
branches to turn
orange. I take a
minute every day to
look at the maple tree
and see if the leaves
are turning, even a
little bit...I'm ready to
pounce on those
branches as soon as
they turn! I cut them
and hoard them in
from the
driveway. There is no
such thing as too many
colors during Fall; they
are everywhere, and
because our Winters
are so long and so gray
you just have to soak
it all in and make it
last as long ad possible!
But the leaves aren't
changing yet and while
I wait, I am changing...
I'm changing linens,
putting away the
Summer goods and
getting ready for the
crisp fall breezes that
will frost over my
garden. Pulling out
the flannel blankets
and digging out the
sweaters. So much to
do, so little time!
I have no time to
spare for big project
this time of year but
I'm taking care of my
creative spirit with
small weekend projects
that  warm my heart
and home. I truly hope
that while you are
here you find
something to motivate
and inspire you to do
the same. Hugs, B=)
Are you lovin' these pumpkins or
what?!
